What the...............

So I'm driving to work this morning listening to my morning talk show when they go to commercial.........come down to Margarita Rocks this Saturday for the best party in town and be entered to win this weekend's door prize a $5,200 breast augmentation............which is the point I almost drove off the road. What has become of our crazy society when the door prize at a dance club is major plastic surgery? So very sad that this is accepted but I'm considered freakish because I don't drink alcohol. I ask you all what the heck is going on?

Latest photo shoot

I am so sorry for the poor color and dust in these photos. This is my last shoot with my 35mm since my new digital camara should be here in about 2 weeks, yeah!!!!!!!!. I had to scan these with my super dirty scanner and just didn't have the time to pull it out and clean. This is my co-worker and her happy little family. Her daughter is only 4 months old here, can you believe that! She is the cutest little chunker you have ever seen and the biggest smiler around. We set this little studio up in her house and just went to town. I miss doing this full time!

Meet Asher

Asher joined our little family this weekend. (Sorry I don't have a photo of him yet, but he is a 15lb orange buff tabby....yummy hunk of kitty) We got him from Noah's Ark pet rescue in Glendale AZ. He had been abandoned on the streets and used his charm and good looks to get some help from one of the Noah's Ark volunteers. He is the sweetest in hunk of lap cat I have met since our Cesar man. I feel at peace now having our new addition and love the mellow kicked back just want to snuggle with you love he is. Welcome to the family Asher!

Ahhhhhhhh.....................

Yesterday was such a gift. It rained on and off for most of the day and I loved every minute. I miss very few things from California, however, no matter how long I stay here in the desert I don't think I'll ever stop missing the rain and fog. I have made peace with the fact that this is where I am meant to be right now in my life and I am thankful for the monsoon season since I really dig the lightning, but man I love a gloomy, cuddle in you sweatshirt and slippers, hugging a cup of apple cider, lose yourself in a good book rainy day. I also had the opportunity to join some great friends for a greeting card club meeting and was able to just kick back for a couple of hours. I have to remember to take that time for me from now on so I don't get so stressed out. It felt so good to talk about everything going on, snuggle with the babies and get those creative juices flowing. We made the cutest card that uses a over sized paperclip you can take off and use as a bookmark; super cute! Well here's to those little blessings that make all the stress melt away. I wish you all a day full of little blessings :-)

Well I have finally given in to my friends. Uggg peer pressure is so overwhelming! So as if I didn't have enough on my plate I am now joining the addicting world of blogging. I can tell you now I will never be a consistent blogger as there are a number of nights that I honestly can't even remember if I brushed my teeth because I have been running 100mph. Also I may have a degree in English hanging on my wall, but that does not by any means indicate I know how to spell. So please excuse me for the errors to come in the future. Well those are my only real disclaimers. Here's to keeping in touch with old friends and meeting new friend's!
